Tom Mennie

Managing Director, Balance Sheet Strategies

Tom Mennie is a Managing Director, Balance Sheet Strategies of Velligan-Blaxall Consultants, LLC. Tom’s responsibilities include serving the firm’s ALM and CECL modeling clients via board/ALCO presentations and training, and strategy development. Tom also contributes to business development and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining VBC, Tom held positions including CFO, Treasurer, and Controller at various community banks where he developed his expertise in accounting, finance, treasury, capital planning, risk management and operations.

Tom is an active member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Financial Manager’s Society, currently serving on the Board of Directors and as Past President, as well as serving on the Finance Council of the National Financial Managers Society.

As an alumni volunteer with Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, Tom is the Chapter Advisor of the Villanova Chapter. Tom enjoys listening to live music, playing guitar, sailing, snorkeling and anything tropical. A die-hard Parrot Head, Tom is currently the Treasurer of the Blue Hen Parrot Head Club, an organization that embraces the Jimmy Buffett lifestyle and raises money to support local charities

Tom holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University, and lives in Elverson, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Pam, and Chocolate Lab, Wylie.
